Jointly hosted by the Knowledge Management Research Centre of the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering and the Hong Kong Knowledge Management Society, the Hong Kong Knowledge Management Conference was once again held on 4th March 2011. This year, we were proud to have Mr. Nicolas Gorjestani, Senior Advisor for The World Bank, deliver a talk on “The Intangibles in Building a Knowledge Sharing Culture.”
Eight winners of the Hong Kong Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (MAKE) Award shared their knowledge management strategies and experiences with the audience using a knowledge café format. The participants valued their face‐to‐face conversations with the winners who exchanged learning and insights with each another.
This year’s conference attracted over 60 participants from different sectors, including the government, NGOs, and various business and industrial sectors.
