Organized by the Knowledge Management and Innovation Research Centre, we have invited Dr Kenneth A. Grant from Ted Rogers School of Management, Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada to deliver a talk on " The Challenges and opportunities for IT systems to support Knowledge Management". While many KM implementations rely on the support of IT systems, reports of the success of such systems vary considerably. This presentation will review various perspectives on the use of IT for KM and examine the factors that might contribute to their success or failure.
