Organized by The Knowledge Management and Innovation Research Centre (KMIRC), we have invited Dr. Susanne Durst, Assistant Professor of International Management at the Institute for Entrepreneurship of University of Liechtenstein (Principality of Liechtenstein) to deliver a seminar on ‘Do you know your knowledge is at risk? – How to sustain success in SMEs?’.
The aging workforce will soon lead to massive number of retirements in SMEs that can’t be compensated for by the smaller number of succeeding individuals. On the other hand, knowledge is viewed as the key resource that needs to be developed and stay competitive. Consequently, SMEs need to find ways to cope with the demographic challenge and its possible consequences in order to stamp the pending loss to their knowledge repository. If they fail to address this challenge, their knowledge stock is especially vulnerable when critical staff leaves. This talk by Susanne Durst will address the above challenge and more in detail.
Date: 24 Sept 2013 (Tuesday)
Venue: The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Fee: HK$200 (regular); FREE for KMIRC members and MSc KM students
