Dr Henry Lau

Dr Henry Lau is currently a Associate Professor of the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Currently, he is the subject coordinator of a 9 credit points subject named Integrative Studies in Enterprise Systems and Management and is also in-charge of the Business Automation Laboratory in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Microsoft Enterprise Systems Centre.

Dr Lau is an active researcher, focusing on applied research areas to enhance enterprise business operations. He has been involved in a number of projects related to the establishment of knowledge-based systems to support product development, organizational change and process improvement. His research findings have been published or accepted for publication in a number of international journals covering more than 100 journal papers. Dr Lau teaches undergraduate and post-graduate subjects in Technology and Applications of Electronic Business Systems (ISE328) and Information Technology for Manufacturing (ISE532) as well as Industrial Decision Support Systems (ISE528).
