Dr. Vincent Yeung

Dr. Vincent Yeung is an Assistant Professor of Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Currently, he is one of the subject coordinators for the CyberU MSc in KM programme which is planning to be launched in September 2004. Vincent is also subject leader and guided industrial project coordinator in other postgraduate and undergraduate programme in the Department.

He is an active researcher with an emphasis on industry related and applied research. His research interests in KM include KM Applications in quality control and improvement, e-learning, Knowledge Audit. He has actively engaged in a number of KM research projects which include the development of a new technology forecasting model. In addition, he is coaching the development of a customer complaint management system for a management consultancy firm and a performance excellence model for an Ion Plating plant. His research results have been published in various international journals. He speaks in number of industrial seminars and workshops.

Vincent teaches undergraduate and post-graduate subjects in Contemporary Issues in Quality Management, Managing Six Sigma, Field Study of Technology Organizations, Quality Management Systems and Total Quality Management. He also supervises and co-supervises a number of research student projects in KM related areas. He is a Senior Member of American Society for Quality and a Certified Quality Manager.
