FIELD TRIP TO CHINA Foreign Participants For entry into, exit from or transit through the Chinese territory, a Chinese visa is required for foreigners. So participants coming from countries outside Hong Kong must apply for a Chinese tourist visa on their own in order to join the China Field Trip on 8 July 2004. The overseas Chinese visa authorities are Chinese embassies, consulates, visa offices, the consular department of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in HKSAR, and other agencies abroad authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China. IMPORTANT NOTES Please note that the organizer WILL NOT bear any responsibility of applying any kind of visa for the participants. The registration fee DOES NOT cover the cost of the visa fee. If the participants fail to get a valid visa for entry into China, they cannot join the China field trip.
