An International Event

We are please to announce that Hong Kong will host the 8th International Conference on Supply Chain Management and Information Systems (SCMIS 2010) in association with the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong on 6th - 8th October 2010.

Conference Theme

The conference theme is Logistics Systems and Engineering. The conference is designed to seek practitioners’ knowledge and opinions, and to apply theory to practice. Academics and practitioners are now invited to submit their conference papers.

Conference Aims

To identify emerging logistics issues and research opportunities in the arena of Supply Chain Management and Information Systems by working closely with industry
To exchange research ideas, observations and theories crossing different disciplines, sectors and countries in the field of supply chain management, logistics information systems, performance measures and metrics, environmental and sustainability issues in logistics, and knowledge management
To help researchers and decision makers in understanding the processes involved in logistics systems and their operations
