Brief Biosketch

Dennis K.C. Lo received his B.Sc. and M.Phil. in Applied Physics and Materials Science in the City University of Hong Kong (CityU) in 1998 and 2003 respectively, and Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2008. His Ph.D. thesis was on synthesis of semiconductor nanomaterials. Before joining the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, he worked on photonic biosensor with Prof. Aaron H.P. Ho in CUHK. His research interests include engineering materials, laser materials processing, optical instrumentation and optoelectronic materials.

Research Specialties:

Engineering Materials, Laser Materials Processing, Optical Instrumentation, Photonic Biosensor and Optoelectronic Materials.
